How to add income to your site.

In order to see real growth from year to year, online businesses must continually offer new products or services. If you are unable to create something of your own, you can find solid products and services related to yours and resell them.

Consider offering web hosting, software, information or anything else related to your area of expertise. Every new product or service you introduce will plant a seed for future income growth.

Below is a list of some items we've recently added to our web site. Along with a description of the item, we've listed average income generated and a link where you can sign up to offer the same product or service at your site.

January 1998 -

What: Web hosting services. After a long, hard search for a top-notch, reputable web host we moved our site to Virtualis and started reselling their services right away.

Income generated: Not only were we thrilled with our website's new home, the income from their reseller plan has generated thousands of dollars in extra income every month.

March 1998 -

What: Added Web Position Analyzer program to our software listing.

Income generated: Since WebPosition upgraded to the Gold edition in early 1999, profits have doubled. We're averaging $1000 per month profits reselling this program.

November 1998 -

What: Added National Card Systems Merchant services referral program. Every business needs to be able to accept credit cards. This new program allows webmasters to make money helping businesses save on obtaining a merchant account.

Income generated: For each new customer you refer, you earn $50. The commission structure is two-level, and is not network marketing. Profits have been between $50 and $200 monthly.

April 1999 -

What: Added Internet Marketing Challenge referral program. At IMC, I've teamed up with a handful of the web's most respected marketing experts to provide business owners with the knowledge and the resources they need to profit online. The information is shared via a membership to the Internet Marketing Challenge Private Web Site. Affiliates earn 25% commission. (More if you are a member of the private site.)

Income generated:

As a consultant to the private site I am also a leading affiliate. September and October commissions have averaged $2800, a bit off recent highs. Still not a bad reward for simply helping other marketers succeed online. This is one you should seriously consider joining and promoting.

July 2000 -

What: Added Sam Robbins' CashFlow Marketing referral program. Of all the tasks necessary when doing business on the web, perhaps the most important of all is the ability to write powerful sales copy. At the CashFlow Marketing site, my friend Sam Robbins reveals the secrets to doing just that - in a unique and interesting manner. Sam also invites his visitors to join his private site for personal assistance, and he pays his platinum members hefty commissions for referring new members.

Income generated: Sam's in-demand services alone, have directly resulted in thousands of dollars in profits when applying them to my affiliate programs above. As to commissions on referrals to his private site, since joining in July 2000, Sam has sent over $16,000 in commissions my way.  Not too shabby for helping marketers get their sites into profit quickly.
