CGI and Mailto Forms
By Jim Daniels

First off, many of you may be asking, what the heck is CGI? CGI stands for the "Common Gateway Interface". It is a standard for interfacing external applications with information servers, such as HTTP or Web servers.

A common use for CGI is a fill-out form which emails feedback from your website visitors. This allows visitors to your site to fill out a form, click submit, and have the info delivered to you by email.

If you want to learn about CGI, or you're looking for a CGI program or script for your particular computer system or application, you should visit www.cgi-resources.com

If you're looking to add a fill-out form to your site without going through the CGI learning curve, here's a great resource... www.formmail.to

If you're looking for something that does a bit more, such as follow-up automatically via email and self-build a database of prospects, try a free demo of www.webbusinesswizard.com
