"Final Super Affiliate PPC Secrets"

In parts one and two of this short series (archives) I explained how affiliate marketers make as much as six figures a month with PPC advertising.

Today I'll share a few final secrets to earning the big bucks, right after this quick sponsor break.

Today we need to talk about the website(s) you'll be sending pay-per-click traffic to...

Gone are the days when you could just enter affiliate links into your ppc campaign and send traffic directly to the affiliate offers.

Nowadays you need a landing site.

That's right, every time you enter a new niche, you need to put up a new website. Not just a one or two page 'bridge' site designed to move traffic to your affiliate links! You need a real website.

If you went into affiliate marketing so you could avoid the hassle of putting up entire websites, you went in for the wrong reasons.

At the bare minimum these days, you need a 10 page site for every niche you enter. A 20 page or more website is even more effective in most cases. (I'll explain why in a minute.)

Each site you build for your PPC traffic should have all of the following components...

A Home Page (usually index.html)

Privacy Policy Page

About Us Page

Contact Page

Site Map

Unique Content

Resources Page (with outgoing links to high quality .org and .edu authority sites in that niche)

Targeted Landing Pages (break your keywords into themes and have a separate landing page for each theme)

Navigation such as buttons leading visitors to different parts of your site or page (like a real website)

I know this is starting to sound like a lot of work, but a real website takes some effort, and you need a real website -- especially when you're promoting affiliate offers via PPC advertising.

Right after this quick message, I'll tell you what happens if you don't follow that advice, and instead try to 'shortcut' your way to PPC affiliate riches...

So what happens if you try to 'shortcut it' and slap up flimsy 1-5 page websites with weak landing pages in an effort to get people over to your affiliate offers?

Well, if you're lucky enough to get a decent quality score from Google, it may actually work for a little while -- a very little while, until Google 'slaps' you with a penalty or worse, bans your site.

If you're not familiar with what a google slap is, it's simple. It means having your PPC campaign, something you poured hours of sweat equity into, pulled out from under you like a dirty carpet.

You see, Google, as well as other PPC ad networks, often change the rules for their advertisers. Above all else, they want a quality experience for their search engine users. That means as an advertiser, if you don't change along with them, your thriving campaign can come to a screeching halt. Literally overnight.

So along with setting up your site properly, as I explained above, here are a four more ways that super-affiliates thrive with PPC advertising, without having to worry about Google slaps...

Create a blog in the same niche and link to it at your site. (You can set up a blog at wordpress.com or blogger.com in a few minutes flat.) Then add a new post at your blog every week and link to the new post from your site.

Add a couple original articles to your site every week. Fresh content shows that it's a real site, not just a site designed to send people to affiliate offers. (Only you have to know that!)

Hide your affiliate links using PHP redirects.

Steer clear of shady offers. (Many offers in the weight-loss category, government grant offers, other CPA offers are under fire lately.)

Remember, all it takes is one Google reviewer to flip the switch on your campaign. Don't give them any reasons to do it.

If your site is a true educational experience for each visitor, you'll be contributing to the positive experience Google and other PPC advertising networks such as Yahoo and Bing want for their readers.

Not only will that keep your campaign up and running, it will increase your clickthroughs and your commissions too!

It's lessons like this that make one thing obvious... if you're interested in giving PPC advertising a try, you need to get informed before you jump in.

If you're reading this before Nov. 16, 2009, I urge you to take a few minutes and watch this video.

You'll discover some more secrets from PPC super-affiliates explaining how they're pulling in consistent daily profits.

Remember, nobody said becoming a super-affiliate was going to be easy. But if you get there, it can be quite rewarding!

See ya in a few weeks...

"Jim, I just wanted to say I got a great response from the ad that I ran with you recently. I made over 5x the cost of the ad so I'm very happy. I'd become a little disheartened with a lot of ezine/newsletter advertising recently so just wanted to say "thanks" and I'll definitely be back!" -- Richard Legg, BizWeb eGazette Advertiser
