"More Super Affiliate Secrets"

In last week's issue I explained how some affiliate marketers are actually earning six figures a month.

Today I'll share the secret these super-affiliates use to get massive PPC (pay-per-click) traffic at rock bottom prices.

It's the key to success with PPC, and it's right after this quick sponsor break.

Lets jump right in...

If there's one key element to PPC advertising that dooms people to failure, it's the keyword selection process.

More specifically, it is the failure to "go wide" with your keywords.

For those of you unfamiliar with PPC advertising, your keywords are simply the list of words you load into your campaign. When web surfers search on one of these words, your ad appears, and you pay a small fee when someone clicks the ad and goes to your site.

Going wide with your keyword lists, is a little tricky to understand at first, and it sometimes takes a while to apply it to certain niches, but it is imperative that you do so.

"Going wide" with keywords means building keyword lists that contain a wide variety of related search terms, rather than a list built on one narrowly focused word or term.

Perhaps the best explanation I've seen is from Amit Mehta's, the co-founder of PPC Classroom. He's classroom has been creating countless work-from-home case studies since it opened for the first time last year.

Amit explains the "failure to go wide" as one of the biggest reasons that so many affiliates are struggling -- he calls it clone thinking.

He explains...

When it comes to keyword research, most affiliate marketers start by brainstorming some possible keywords the wrong way. Let's say they're going into a market like dog training. They'll start with keywords like these...

dog training

train dog

dog behavior

dog obedience

and maybe a few more

They most likely got these right from the sales letter of the dog training ebook. Then they’ll put these into a keyword tool like wordtracker, and finally throw the results into separate adgroups.

After running the campaigns for a few days they’ll discover that the keywords are too expensive and bid them down to the second page.

After optimizing the campaign for 3 months, they’ll think : “Damn! What am I doing wrong, I making 5 sales a day, with 50% ROI. How are these super affiliates making 50 sales a day with 100% ROI?!?”

Well here’s a tip, if you follow the same cookbook recipe to keyword research as everyone else then you’re going to face fierce competition and low profit margins (if any at all).

Right after this quick message from today's sponsor, yours truly, I'll show you the right way to build your PPC keyword lists...

Here's a free tool that automatically combines them for you!

This is how a super affiliate would approach this market. And using strategies like these, along with other proven techniques Amit teaches, I'm not surprised that many of his PPC Classroom students make 50 sales a day and 100% ROI.

Do you see the difference in the two types of keywords lists?

Deep keyword lists contain very few core keywords.

Wide keyword lists contain a larger variety of keywords related to the niche. It requires imagination, but anyone can do it.

WIDE lists can cost significantly less per click than deep lists. And when you're bidding on lots of keywords, as you should be, this can make the difference between losses and significant profits.

It's lessons like this that make one thing obvious... if you're interested in giving PPC advertising a try, you need to get informed before you jump in. (Otherwise you can take quite a bath with PPC!)

I urge you to take a few minutes and read this new report.

It reveals more secrets to becoming the top 2% of the web's elite super-affiliates.

"Jim, I just wanted to say I got a great response from the ad that I ran with you recently. I made over 5x the cost of the ad so I'm very happy. I'd become a little disheartened with a lot of ezine/newsletter advertising recently so just wanted to say "thanks" and I'll definitely be back!" -- Richard Legg, BizWeb eGazette Advertiser
