Checking In
On Member Projects...
It's time again to peek in on some of my current and former coaching site
members. Seeing what others are doing on the web
shows you that everyone is new to this at some point -- even the owner of one of today's
featured sites, an entrepreneur well into his 90's!
After a quick look
at each site I'll give you some tips on starting your own. First
a quick message from a site I use regularly...
Serious Income Requires Your Own Products
Here's the
secret resource being used by many of the gurus you know...
(They won't admit it, but more than likely,
they use this.)

Get Serious. Get Your Own Products.
The first site I want
to show you today is from my most senior member, yet possibly the most
energetic. His name is Jack Schulz and he teaches other seniors
how to get in shape using his fun strategies.

http://feefun.info
Jack's mission is to whip people into better physical condition
so they can live longer and happier lives. His training program
promises results in just four minutes a day.
His new business is already off and running and helping clients.
His site just went live and he's already received his first order
from a customer in Texas.
Way to go Jack!

he next site I want
you to have peek at today is by Nick Bayley.
Nick is a former coaching client who has had many successes
online including his golf sites and now in the Internet
marketing services space. His newest site is called
MyEMetrics.com...

myemetrics.com
MyEMetrics.com is a tool to help web businesses measure all
the most important things their website is doing, or not doing.
If you have a website that is not performing or converting
visitors into leads and income, Nick's site will figure out why
and help you turn things around!

T
he third site I want
you to have peek at today is by Gold
member Leon Noone.
Leon's an expert with decades of experience
in managing employees. His new blog is full of great advice for
business managers in just about any industry...

staffperformancesecrets.com
If you have employees, Leon will help you keep them motivated and
looking out for your bottom line. I suggest you have a look at
his site and get his complimentary guide, as Leon really know
his stuff. (There's no replacement for experience in this field.)

T
he last site I want to show you
is from my former coaching client Barry Bouthilette. His friends call him “the
energy guy” due to his abundance of enduring energy.

www.greatstrategies.net
Barry's mission in life is to inspire people to be fully engaged
in a life that really matters. And he's succeeding! Here's an
email I received from Barry...
"Jim, I’m happy to report that sales of my book, Feel the
Zest: 89 Ways to Be Fully Energized, are going well. I’m going
at it in a different way than first presented to you. Instead of asking big name internet marketers
to promote it and give them a cut, I’m pitching it to large
corporations and having some success. I got a nice order for
1400 last week and have a few more possibilities in the hopper!"
Way to go Barry! If there's one lesson you take from Barry's
success it's that you need to think out of the box.
Barry is reaching far more people by concentrating his efforts
on larger companies and selling in bulk. As word spreads of his
book I expect to see a lot more of him. If you don't have Feel
The Zest yet, grab it at Amazon.com today. You'll see a
testimonial inside from yours truly, as well as lots of others
people you may recognize.
After this quick sponsor banner I'll share some tips on starting
your own income stream online.

Here's how to start your own income stream from the web...
Step 1: Choose a model that works for you and start sharing unique
content...
Look, you do not have to sell anything online if that's not your style. There are lots
of ways earn money with a website or even a blog.
You can earn advertising revenue from places like Google Adsense.
You can even earn affiliate commissions from other merchants.
You can open an affiliate program and let people sell your
products. Heck, you can even sell the rights to your products to
others.
The key is to start out by sharing useful information. Good
quality content grows a following for you. And of you're filling a site or blog with unique content on a
regular basis, then search engines will love you. That means
more and more visitors, sales, commissions or ad clicks.
If coming up with solid content on a regular basis is
difficult for you, just outsource the task. You can get really
good articles written very inexpensively nowadays. I'm talking
400+ word articles for about five or six bucks a piece at places
like textbroker.com and fiverr.com.
Step 2: Take Your Time!
Remember as you go along that it takes time to build something of
value.
Contrary to what all the get rich quick sites and hyped
up sales letters tell you, it all takes consistent effort and
more importantly, time to build a serious business
on the web.
Step 3: Promote Vigilantly!
Once you have a content plan in place, focus your efforts on grass roots marketing. There are lots of easy
ways to promote your site or blog online...
- Submit your best content to a network of publishers or blogs
every week
- Use fiverr.com to outsource article submissions and other
marketing tasks
- Find some joint venture partners in your niche and trade
links or promotions
- Grow opt-in lists with quality giveaways and follow up
with your subscribers
- Try a solo mailing with an opt-in email list company
- Try some low-cost ezine advertising in email newsletters
in your niche
- Start an affiliate program
When you do things like those regularly, you'll see other
"side effects" develop that increase your traffic and income.
These include word of mouth, social traffic and even improved
search engine rankings.
If you offer fresh, ongoing, quality content that helps people in your niche,
and you share it intelligently, you'll get there.
Yes, it takes work and constant promotion. And it takes laser
like focus.
That's it for today's ramblings.
Thanks for taking time to poke around at those sites my members
put up. I like
to show off some of my members' sites every once in a while. It
helps them jumpstart their business and it helps others see that it really is possible to start something
from scratch.
